In tonight's post I want to cover a few different subjects. Two positive one completely negative. First the negative:

RB Power & Sailing - Creed O'Hanlon - TIKI 38

Today I received this e-mail from RB Power & Sailing

Sir

We require you to remove all the commentaries somehow related to RB
Power & Sailing Co. ; Ltd. activity from your site .

Your behavior is causing a damage to RB corporation and if necessary we will
be obliged to file a case against you , in your own country .

Internet defamation against RB Power and Sailing Co. ; Ltd. is easily
demonstrated in your pages .

Please consult with your lawyer and please remove all negative commentaries
within 48 hours .

We hope not to be obliged to take You in Court for this , but we will certainly
do without an inmediate action , claiming all the damages that your behavior
is causing and already caused to the RB Corporation .

You probably don't have a clear idea of what you are doing , and this is why
we ask you again to consult an attorney to get clarified about the gravity of
your behavior , and the huge expenses that you will have to face

My only response to this will be the words posted below

This website is centred around a very personal account of what is without doubt, the hardest thing I have ever attempted to do. I have made every effort to not only detail the work involved in building a Tiki 38, but to show the feelings and emotions that result from it. When I started the journal it was an entirely selfish enterprise however I have been both amazed and gratified that others have found my words to be of interest and value. This interest and support has helped me through times when I feared for my future. I now feel a sense of duty to repay that support by continuing to record not only the day to day activities but all the things that affect me and the build. None of this changes the fact that this is, in effect my personal journal. I've made clear before and I do so again now. All the views and opinions contained in the journal are my own. Readers are free to agree or disagree, accept or reject anything I say. My posts are open to free comment however this is my domain and I retain the right to delete any comments as I see fit.

I have no intention of letting this issue dominate my posts. The comments I've made on the subject will be remaining in my journal and, if further information comes to light that I deem to be of interest or value to my readers I will pass it on. In the meantime I will let others form their own judgements regarding the actions of RB to date.
